Established in 2009.
Richard and Sarah Piepenburg started Vinaigrette to fulfill their dreams of being small business owners who provided high quality product paired with high quality service. Inspired by their experiences of sampling wine in the vineyards of California they had fallen in love with the idea of tasting a variety of products to identify which one was uniquely “you”. During one of their winery excursions they had an epiphany as one of the wineries offered up samples of their olive oil and wine vinegars. With that, Vinaigrette was born. Richard and Sarah focused on getting only the best products. They’ve eliminated working with large corporations and found a 6-family co-op to supply them with olive oils and vinegars that are unparalleled. They take pride in offering only GMO-free, preservative-free, organic oils and vinegars. At Vinaigrette you are encouraged to sample everything. You will find that shopping at VInaigrette is not just shopping, it’s an experience.

Quite simply, we are people with a passion for food and cooking. We also like to have fun! With that in mind, we have always been on the lookout for delicious, quality ingredients – olive oil and vinegar in particular.
Thus, the idea for Vinaigrette was born. Vinaigrette, LLC began in 2009 in Southwest Minneapolis. We are a family- owned and operated food store, specializing in everything vinaigrette.
