In 2009 when UBreakiFix’s founder, Justin Wetherill dropped his new iPhone 3G it was his aha moment. As an avid tech geek, Justin figured he could repair his phone by himself. After receiving the parts he realized he bit off a little more than he could chew. He called a college buddy, David Reiff to help. After repairing Justin’s device then friends and families devices they realized there was a need for high quality smartphone repairs. In 2009 they partnered with another friend, Eddie Trujillo opening their first storefront in Orlando, FL. In 2016 UBIF had completed over 2.3 million repairs, helped 3 million customer and now have 300 locations.
