The Thirsty Whale officially launched in July 2016, accepting custom orders and appearing at several local farmer’s markets. The storefront is set to open February 2017.

Megan Bignell & Kyle Baker, owners of The Thirsty Whale Bakery, both come from culinary backgrounds. Megan graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and has been working as a cake designer and decorator ever since. She’s been featured in magazines, won several awards, and has even made cakes for celebrities! Megan loves to take on challenges and create extreme cakes. If you can dream it, she can make it.

Kyle started out making doughnuts and has since progressed into baking, cake decorating, and even management. He left a position as a bakery manager to join Megan in opening The Thirsty Whale. Kyle specializes in creating great new flavors – especially for our breads!
