Anton Seelenbacher opened SeelenbacherJewelers in 1966, originally a watch repair shop located in the Franklin Building in Oakland. As the family grew he added jewelery and in 1971, moved the shop to it’s current location at 1507 Webster Street in Alameda. On weekends home from college, son Christopher learned the business at his dad’s side (and after college at the Revere Acadmey for Jewelery Arts), becoming an expert in jewelry fabrication, design and repair, in his own right. Christopher purchased the business from his dad in 1998. Seelenbacher Jewelers specializes in engagement rings and custom design and that special gift you might be looking for.
