In the early years of the Providence Renaissance, Eileen Collins and Brandt Heckert provided up-and-coming restaurants with their homemade desserts. Their approach was simple and successful: offer the best quality and deliver it consistently. In 1983 they opened a small shop on historic Federal Hill.
