Mario was born and raised in Key West, FL by Cuban parents. Cooking is in his blood, he started his restaurant experience as a teenager at La Lechonera, where his mom worked and continued his love for cooking as he got older. His son, Marko took cooking to the next level by attending culinary art school after high school. Together, they’ve creatively added seafood to traditional dishes featured at FreshCo!
