Established in 1954.
Charles and Marilyn Crowley opened the first Crowley Furniture store in Excelsior Springs, MO in 1954, beginning a business that has been raised and cared for by the family ever since. Their son Greg grew up immersed in the daily operations of a furniture business and in 1972, after graduating from the University of Kansas, officially began his career and commitment to continue the companys tradition of quality furniture and great service. In 1985 Greg took ownership and set the stage for success as the family-run furniture store headed toward a new millenium. In 2000, his wife Beth left behind a teaching career to join him and in 2003 their daughter Laura became the third generation to nurture the growing business. With locations in Liberty, Lees Summit and Overland Park, Crowley Furniture & Mattress is proud to be Kansas City`s hometown furniture store.
