We specialize in custom cupcakes, cakes, and French macarons. From birthdays to weddings, graduations to baby showers, any event always needs sweets. All items can be customized to your event with colors, themes and flavors. Also available are cookies sandwiches and meringue cookie sandwiches.

I have been baking ever since I was a little girl. Every Christmas the women in our family would get together to bake cookies. It was my favorite time of year. Baking has always been a passion and time of enjoyment for me. I started watching Cupcake Wars in 2011 and decided to try a few of the recipes. I would bring them in to work and everyone loved them. So much so, I decided to try it on the side for a while. Last year I finally made the leap and started Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe full time. I love making sweet treats for any event. Seeing the look on people’s faces when they see their cakes or anything else is amazing.

Baking is my passion! I have been baking my whole life and I just love it. Decorating and making beautiful treats is so rewarding, and seeing the look on people’s faces when they taste their treats is the best. If you have an event coming up just let me know – themes are my specialty. We’ll put our heads together and make your celebration extra special.
I have also played and competed in sports all my life: gymnastics for 16 years, diving for five, and dabbled in softball and track and field. Being in sports has honed my ability to multi-task and keeps my perfectionist ways in check, although being a perfectionist is a very good trait to have in the baking industry!
Another lifelong passion is our cabin, and we’ve been going up north for over 30 years. Spending time with friends and family, relaxing on the water or telling stories by the bonfire, surrounded by the gorgeous nature of northern Minnesota is heaven to me.
