Wempe Jewelers was founded in Germany in 1878 and continues to be family-owned, operating 34 stores and brand boutiques in 7 countries lead by CEO Kim-Eva Wempe. The US operations were started in 1980 in New York with the Fifth Avenue flagship store offering the largest selection of fine watches, jewelry as well as watch winders and safes in a European style salon atmosphere.
