They are USA wild caught, headless, flash frozen, Gulf of Mexico shrimp and free of preservatives. Captain’s Select was founded in 1988 in Destin, Fl by my father. The seafood market featured a full display of the freshest seafood available along the Gulf Coast. His passion for the industry and the market shined. Years later he reluctantly sold the market and started a family construction business that successfully operates there to this day! The seafood market was my favorite place in the world. Growing up, I was surrounded by the beaches and always on the docks and boats fishing. My uncle was a charter boat captain for the Wahoo. Over the years we continued to stay in contact with our friends in the seafood industry. After many years in construction, and a few states from home, I made the decision to reopen Captain’s Select here in our new home, Fort Mill. Featured in our store is also our famous Captain’s Select seasoning that was sold in my fathers market! We are all extremely excited for this opportunity, and look forward to sharing it with everyone!
