African Cichlids, Catfish, odd balls & other fresh water aquatic fishes. Also carry Aquariums & products for them. We have a onsite fish hatchery where we breed many types of cichlids. We also do Aquarium Delivery, Installation & Maintenance services.

Established in 1992.
Started my business when I was 22 years old from scratch. Before opening my first retail pet store I started Aquarium Maintenance & also wholesaled cichlids to local stores. Now I’m a Rare Breed in the industry as a Independent Local Fish Store (LFS) and the only specialty Fresh water only fish store left in the county.

I’m a Fish geek & started keeping fish when I was a little kid & when I turned ten I received my first 10 gallon tank. More tanks were added as time goes by. I started working for a chain store when I was 15 then a number other stores over the years. I also was breeding many types of cichlids that I sold to the local stores. I dived into my own venture when I was 22 with SomethingFishy. There was a lot of learning lessons & trial & errors. Call it School of hard knocks. I also was a Part Time Animal Control Officer for four years. I do have a background in other animals & pets.
