Over 35 years in the business of selling fine jewelry, diamonds and engagement rings. Specializing in jewelry and watch repairs.

Established in 1979.
As young men, Pierre Uzee and Art Schmitt apprenticed with master jewelers in the Audubon Buildig and then went their separate ways, but after Hurricane Katrina they reunited, working for Pierre’s for Diamonds. Pierre passed away in 2017 and Art continued the business, which is now Pierre’s Jewelry and Expert Jewelry Repairs.

Arthur Schmitt, Jr. is a jeweler with over 35 years of experience. He apprenticed with Bill Armbruster and then worked with Pierre Uzee until Pierre passed away. He has vast experience with repairs and design/manufacturing of new pieces. His greatest joy is seeing his customer’s joy when he has repaired a sentimental piece of jewerly or helped them create a new piece.
