Peddler's Son Produce

Peddler’s Son Produce, is a family owned wholesale produce distributor, based in downtown Phoenix. We proudly deliver fresh, high grade fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats, desserts, spices & many other provisional goods throughout Arizona.

From the back of his pickup truck in 1988, Ted Palmisano brought the vision of Peddler’s Son Produce to life. While new to the Phoenix area, Ted was no stranger to the produce industry, having worked many years for his cousin’s wholesale foods and distribution company in Wisconsin. Ted’s commitment to customer service, quality and honest pricing enabled his dream to grow; ultimately allowing operations to move out of Ted’s vehicle. As business continued to boom, Ted enlisted the assistance of his brother Joe. Now able to focus on purchasing and warehouse operations with Joe overseeing sales and finance, Peddler’s Son was able to more fiercely contend with the competition, while maintaining its customer centric mindset. In ’95, this once modest produce distribution company was bursting at the seams, prompting the decision to purchase our 17K ft² warehouse. This same fortunate circumstance would occur years later, once again prompting a move to our current 54K ft² facility in Jan. 2015.
