A Creative Director, Style Blogger/Influncer, Stylist and Boutique owner with a distinctive sense of style. Lynette started Off The Hanger nearly seven years ago with the mindset that she would help women look fabulous, one hanger at a time. She attended Newark Public Schools and obtained a Paralegal degree at Newark Essex County College as she worked as a Paralegal for the City of Newark. Lynette worked in the Fashion Industry for 13+ years doing freelance work. She has also coordinated fashion shows, created a first-time fashion moment for Newark Lincoln Park Music Festival and worked backstage as a Dresser during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Nolcha Fashion Week in New York City. She has covered many fashion events (i.e. Curl Fest, Essence Style Block Party, Fresh Daily, Inc. Magazine, etc.) as Media and has submitted write-ups to which have been published. In 2014 her talents landed her backstage at London’s Fashion Week in the Somerset house with a designer she met in New York.
