Vatche learned his craft overseas from a master artist and goldsmith more than 25 years ago. He furthered his skill as a jeweler while working in Detroit for four years before moving to Novi to accept a goldsmith position. Vatche prefers working with gold and platinum for their unusual malleability and warmth. Unlike many craftsmen, Vatche creates each individual piece by hand, slowly and carefully, and often uses no molds, making each piece unique.
