Dr. Heejoo Pyon graduated from New York University College of Dentistry — the oldest and most prestigious dental school in the US. Dr. Pyon completed her residency with specialization in emergency dentistry at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. After several years working with refugees and the under-served populations in Brooklyn, NY Dr. Pyon opened her private practice in Midtown Manhattan in 2012.

Dr. Pyon is a current member of the American Dental Association, New York Dental Society, New York County Dental Society, American Association for Women Dentists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She keeps up with the latest developments in dental medicine and regularly attends study clubs as well as continuing education courses.

Dr. Pyon lives in Lower Manhattan with her husband, son, and a dog. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and reading.
