Born & raised in NYC, I’ve always had a passion for food. immediately after high school in 1983, I started working for a very reputable food company & continued learning every aspect of the gourmet food industry. After a few years I became a partner with the company, opening several new locations in the Northeastern states.
I moved to Charlotte in 1990 and opened a 2 very successful gourmet food companies, one in Charlotte, NC the other in Charleston, SC. 12 years later, in 2002, I decided to start my own company and that’s when Gourmet South was born. After 14 years of opening my business, I finally made my dream come true by opening my first retail Meat Market. 05/28/16, Gourmet South Meat Market was born!
