Good Wood Nashville started when owner Dave Puncochar bought a 104 year old Victorian home in East Nashville. A large portion of the original hardwoods were destroyed, and the quest to historically replace them led to Dave’s discovery of the world of old, vintage, reclaimed lumber. It was that process that also led Dave to believe that an easier way should be possible for people who want unique lumber for their home or business.

Dave P started this business in his East Nashville garage somewhere between 2012 and 2013. What started as a hobby has turned into a full blown enterprise. Good Wood Nashville sells and supplies reclaimed and unique lumber, and also installs custom hardwood flooring, barnwood walls, and accent beams.
