Along with our experience and extensive training, our staff has also received the latest training to assist in all the procedures.

Exceptional Dental in Mid-City was opened in 2016. Exceptional Dental originally started out as a single doctor/owner practice founded by Dr. Darrell Bourg in 2001 and was first named Louisiana Dental Spa, which later changed to Exceptional Dental in 2011. We are now a multi-location business with offices throughout Louisiana. We hope to provide exceptional dental care of the highest quality with compassion using the latest technology to become a knowledgeable partner in our community’s oral health, leading to life-long relationships.

Dr. Michael Adragna is a New Orleans native and graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School. He earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the LSU pre-dental society and Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Adragna makes it his goal to ensure that his patients feel comfortable, which he accomplishes by listening to their concerns and keeping them well-informed each step of the way. He takes a particular interest in painless injections, pain management, and esthetic dentistry. He also completed an advanced education course in oral sedation.
