It’s tough to find a more loyal companion than your dog. City Dog is the perfect urban oasis in which to pamper your pooch. We take the mess out of bath time with our unique, state-of-the-art self-service tubs and grooming stations. We currently have two groomers on staff. We also carry premium dog food and dog treats. (As well as cat food and treats.) We carry freeze dried raw and frozen raw as well. We also carry many different types of vitamins and supplements. We have a wide variety of collars, leashes, harnesses & muzzles. We have a large assortment of fun and durable toys to fit every breed and size. We have everything your City Dog needs!

Established in 2005.
City Dog opened its doors on Park Blvd. in San Diego’s East Village in 2005, and has provided high-quality pet foods, treats, toys, products and washing/grooming services to furry customers since 2005. We absolutely love seeing all of our city dogs grow strong & healthy and stay in great health from the tip of their wet noses to wagging tails.

Gary Laliberte is the founder and owner of City Dog. Prior to opening City Dog, Gary worked for over 20 years in the mechanical contracting field. In 2005, Gary opened City Dog after recognizing the need in downtown San Diego for a shop that serves the needs of local pet owners including his own animals.
