Bourbon Barrel Foods creates gourmet food products in the heart of Bourbon Country. Our products are handcrafted using reclaimed barrels from Kentucky’s bourbon distillers as a smoking and aging agent. Bitters, Bourbon Cherries, Syrups, and Tinctures are among our full line of cocktail provisions in partnership with Woodford Reserve and Old Forester. Bourbon Barrel Foods is located in the historic Crescent Hill neighborhood on Frankfort Avenue. All of our products embrace the history and mystique of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country. The Frankfort Avenue location showcases our gourmet sauces, spices, sugars, Kentucky grown sorghum, along with a full line of cocktail provisions in partnership with Woodford Reserve and Old Forester. Each distinctive product is handcrafted in small batches, utilizing reclaimed barrels from Kentucky’s finest bourbon distilleries. This technique imparts an added dimension of flavor and aromas that cannot be replicated using any other process. Our signature product, Bluegrass Soy Sauce, is the only micro-brewed soy sauce made in the U.S. and the only soy sauce in the world fermented and aged in bourbon barrels.

Matt Jamie is the founder and owner of Bourbon Barrel Foods in Louisville, Kentucky. Established in 2006 as the U.S.’s only soy sauce microbrewery, Bourbon Barrel Foods has become a cornerstone of both the bourbon and gourmet foods industries.
Matt Jamie released his debut cookbook, «Eat Your Bourbon,» winter 2017.
