The AETHERoutpost retail concept came about as a response to the currently troubled state of retail. Instead of shying away from expanding its footprint, AETHER decided to capitalize on the plethora of prime retail spaces available with this traveling and packable mobile store, that stays true to the brand’s thoughtful, minimalist aesthetic. With designer Thierry Gaugain and his Paris-based partner, Odilon Guenot, AETHER created a unique retail experience that is lightweight and easily packable so that it can be transported around the country in a small van and set up in a single day. The AETHERoutpost has popped up on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and in Denver, Colorado. AETHERoutpost Chicago is now open.
