Although the core of our business is fine antique and estate jewelry, we tend to specialize in Art Deco engagement rings. We also do a great deal of custom design and offer jewelry repair and jewelry appraisal services. We have also developed our own line of Deco style rings which are exclusive to our shop. Our designs are made to order for you, using either a stone we find for you or using an heirloom stone you provide. We love to work with stones other than diamond, such as sapphire and ruby. In the past years we have made engagement rings with tourmaline, peridot, emerald, aquamarine and even a South Sea pearl. The ‘etc.’ side of our store includes a wonderful selection of fashion jewelry, unusual silver jewelry featuring many American designers such as Silver Seasons, Nakamol, Bora and pieces from all over the world….all personally chosen by AJ. We also have African art, Murano glass, vintage and contemporary cufflinks.

AJ has been collecting jewelry since she was 6 years old. Really. In 1986 she began to do antique shows with friends and found a new passion and career. Her small shop in downtown Nashville was quickly outgrown; she moved to her current location in 1998. Although antique fine jewelry is the core of the business, her selection of fun and silver jewelry is the most diverse imaginable. The shop also specializes in custom designs in gold or platinum. She can find the center stone for your engagement ring or work with your stone. She loves to design engagement rings!

AJ is a native Nashvillian…an old fart with a young heart who relies on a steady stream of young artist to help her keep abreast of the latest trends.

Her academic backgroung ended with a MS in Horticulture- fruit breeding to be specific.

She has traveled to over 37 countries in South America, Europe,Africa, Asia ,the South Pacific and the Middle East. She goes to Thailand and HongKong to search out jewelry and precious stones for her shop.

Jewelry is a great excuse to travel!
