Alan grew up in the southwest Oklahoma town of Lawton. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and received his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He is married with two children. He loves sports and spends most weekends chasing his kids around baseball and softball fields throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding states.
