We are a British owned food and gift shop selling all your favourites from the British and Emerald Isles. We have a very large range of different foods ranging from, Crisps, Curries, Sauces, shoppe baked pasties to Fine English Bone China. We bake all our own pasties, pies, cakes and scones and serve a traditional English Afternoon Tea seven days a week.

Established in 2000.
When Shakespeare’s Corner Shoppe opened up over 16 years ago we admit it was slim pickings. Over the years we have grown into one of the best British grocers the States has to offer. We have our own bakery and started serving an English Afternoon Tea over 13 years ago. Due to the high demand we expanded our catering business and now cater for Churches, Office meetings, Schools etc.

I started out at as the manager of this delightful shop that filled a need in San Diego for a British Grocers. In 2006 I purchased the shoppe and built my dream of having a traditional English Tearoom and a bakery that serves all my Grandmas special British recipes.
