Established in 2007.
Before Black Cat opened its doors April Fools Day 2010 at it’s current location, the owner had a tiny shop less than a block away that was opened in July 2007 That store started out with just handbags and fine perfume, but then expanded to carry fun jewelry and stylish hats. Shortly after Black Cat was established, a beloved hat shop in town called the Mad Hattress closed. Black Cat decided to fill the void and added hats to its mix. The hats were a hit and the decision was made to expand & move to a larger shop at 59 N. Santa Cruz Ave. where we officially became Black Cat Hats.

Aileen is a longtime Los Gatos resident with two young boys who are the loves of her life! She has extensive retail experience and before joining Black Cat Hats was the manager at Chico’s in Los Gatos.
