The Juice Company handcrafts the best premium smoothies in Des Moines with 10 to 12 oz of fruit puree in each smoothie. We create our own fruit purees daily, with NO syrups, NO artificial flavorings, NO colors, NO preservatives, NO artificial sugars. Our lucious fruit purees are also used to make delicious flavored no fat frozen yogurts to order. Juice fasts/cleanses available at $25.50 per day. We specialize in raw juices and offer them by the serving, half gallon or gallon. Our most popular juices are Green Hornet Juice, Mean Green Juice, and Russian Gun, a red juice which includes beets. Get a fresh juice from our cooler or if you have time to wait, you can request a custom blend from your choice of our produce, most of which we buy from local farmers in season. If you want pulp in your juice, we can use a blender to include all the nutrition nature provides. If you don’t want pulp, we’ll use a juicer but you’ll miss some of the nutrition of the whole fruit or vegetable. We grow our own wheatgrass from organic hard red winter wheat seed and juice wheatgrass to order all day long until an hour before closing at which time we juice a couple of shots and stash them in the cooler for customers coming in the last hour before closing. The business started part-time in the farmer’s market, moved to a storefront in Urbandale, then into its current space in The Shops At Roosevelt. Located just north and off of the 42nd street exit from the freeway in the center of Des Moines.
