They perform tooth-colored fillings, custom inlays, and onlays, as well as implant dentistry with custom restorations and guided surgery. Drs. Howard and Howard also help patients improve their sleep with treatments for sleep apnea, TMJ disorder, and chronic snoring. The Dental Office Encino is a family run business. Dr. Alan Howard began practicing in 1980 & moved his practice to Los Angeles in 1988. His son, Dr. Yonatan Howard, joined the practice after graduating from UCSF . Our philosophy is that honesty & an informed decision will result in the best treatment possible. We use Minimally Invasive Dentistry & are constantly learning new techniques & technologies, to offer you the best treatment options. Our Office incorporates state of the art equipment. Each room has it’s own flat panel TV with a massage feature dental chair. We use intra-oral cameras so that you can see & understand what is going on in you mouth. We are one of a few Offices to have the Cerec milling computer, which means no more temporaries for crowns. We make the all porcelain crown in our office so at the end of your 1 hour appointment, you go home with the final crown. Dr. Alan Howard and Dr. Yonatan Howard work together as a father and son practice at The Dental Office Encino. Even though we love Dentistry, we do have some other passions.

Dr. Alan Howard is an avid photographer with a keen eye for Seagulls in their natural settings. He is a gym rat, needing to keep his body in tip top shape in such a physically grueling profession as Dentistry. He also loves to travel and eat the cuisines of the world.

Dr. Yonatan Howard is a master ping pong champion as well as an excellent amateur golfer. He is a self taught guitar player and, like his father, is commonly seen at the local gym.
