Sealed With A Kiss was established by Jana Walker Spano in 1996 as a lingerie store to accommodate Brides getting married at her Lakefront Wedding Chapel business, also in South Lake Tahoe. As the Minister of her wedding chapel and a hopeful romantic herself, Jana had personally performed over 5,000 weddings ceremonies which always ended with the words “You may kiss the bride”…thus the name Sealed With A Kiss. Sealed With A Kiss is very serious about making this world a better place. Each staff member is required to research and choose a charitable cause that they care about, come up with a plan to raise funds without asking customers for money and personally present the check to the Foundation. We work very closely with the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club to help give back to the communities that support us.

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve been open in Lake Tahoe for almost 2 decades now! What started out as a boutique to compliment our wedding chapel with lots of fun items for the bride on her wedding night has grown into a beautiful store full of clothing and accessories from around the world. Last year we ventured into the online market so you can now buy from SWAK when you’re not in town!

The name came from the closing comments on all weddings, “You may now seal the marriage with a kiss.” Sealed With a Kiss is for locals and visitors, men, women and now children too. Lots of ‘one of a kind’ items for your unique wardrobe.

Our business model is based on giving back to the community. We clothe the clients of Live Violence Free every Christmas and provide lots of goodies for the kids as well. Many foundations and charities benefit from our sales every year.
