Mike and Janet Johnston moved to Colorado in 2004 from Chicago to pursue their dream of being business owners in the modern day spice trade. The Denver shop opened in September of 2004. The Littleton location opened in 2006 with the third location, Boulder, opening in July of 2008. The shop at Lowry Town Center (Aurora) soon followed in October 2008. Dan’s background is in restaurants and he has a huge passion for food. The spice trade offers a connection to the culinary world in addition to cultural and historical connectivity.
