Origin Dental was established in 2016. Dr. Tran has been practicing dental care for over 8 years in all aspects, starting as a dental assistant. Given his cultural heritage and experiences, Dr. Tran is well aware of the diverse nature of the population in San Diego and is honored to have the opportunity to provide excellent care to its residents.
Dr. Tran achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), while concurrently earning a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Francisco. He is also a double major graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, holding both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Integrative Biology, and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Genetics and Plant Biology.
Dr. Tran is an advocate for early prevention and diagnosis, and is passionate about educating his patients on proper oral care. Dr. Tran is an active member of several dental associations, including the San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Spear Education.
