Ken’s Man’s Shop opened its doors in Garland, Texas in 1964. Ken originally wished to begin in Dallas, but many of the contemporary lines he wanted were exclusive to Dallas at that time. After 4 years Ken’s relocated across the street into the 5000 sq ft. building of Ridgewood Shopping Center. Ken’s grew and established a history with its clientele. One that was rich in service and relationships. Ken’s also began a long standing relationship with assisting the Dallas Cowboys in the “Big Play Award” during a 20 year period. In 1993, Ken moved Ken’s Man’s Shop to the NE corner of Preston and Royal Village. Ken’s son, Kory also joined in partnership that year. Today Ken’s continues to build upon the building blocks that makes it a unique find in today’s market place. Passionate customer service, superior quality of contemporary merchandise, and a knowledgeable staff. Ken’s assists in all charitable organizations, especially partnering with Tx. Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

I am a haberdasher. I celebrate the fact that what I do is a specialty from years gone by but has current appeal in the everyday world of men’s fashion. I am more than a seller. Other enjoyments are the buying and merchandising, marketing and social media, plus the back office and politics. To be successful at ones trade, one has to live, breathe, and exude the passion for it. I am a haberdasher, and the son of one as well.
