His son-in-law, Dr. Adam Dalesandro, is now practicing in his office. Dr. Derickson belongs to Catalina Rotary Club and is active in many community projects. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, skiing, knife making, photography and tennis. His father was an orthopedic surgeon in Tucson. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
