We are a family-owned, local neighborhood grocery store in Chicago where foodies, chefs, and grandmothers meet their everyday shopping needs. We provide locally sourced meats and produce and are known for our variety of imported foods. Our chef cooks fresh meals every day as well as fresh baked goods. Our butcher prepares fresh cuts of meats daily and we carry organic, vegan and other specialty foods throughout the store. You can shop in-store and place an order online for delivery.

Established in 1995.
We opened a neighborhood a grocery store with the purpose of serving our neighborhood. As the neighborhood changes so do we. In 2005 we were fortunate to have the opportunity to expand and we doubled our space. Since then we have been able to offer a larger variety of products. Now you will find prepared meals, made from scratch, every day. Our great dips, such as guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa 45 and salsa tortuga, that you can only find in our store. More and more organic product as it becomes more available and affordable and of course the freshest produce and meats you can find. Now we are trying to become the “greenest” store in the city. We have changed to a more energy efficient lighting system indoors, LED lighting outdoors, and now we are hoping to install the first, and perhaps only, solar panel awning so we can produce our own electricity to power all the lights. We care about the environment and are willing to do something about it.
