With a combined 50 years of grocery experience, the Marinis family passion is unmistakable.
Louiza and Peter Marinis married in 1979 and shortly there after began their journey together as grocery store entrepreneurs. Growing up in the small villages of Europe, fresh produce and home cooked meals were the basis of their childhood. It was inevitable that all three of the Marinis children would develop the same passion as their parents. Our mission at Fresh Market Place is simple, the best fresh products at the very best price, period! Our mission, while consistent throughout our years, has taken much time and effort to execute perfectly. This is where our experience comes into play. We spend every mornings at the Chicago market sifting through all the different products, trying to find the best produce while bargaining down to the cheapest price possible. And lets not forget our customers. Our drive and motivation comes from our satisfied smiling customers.
