Dental Store North Shore is making a big splash with its recent opening in Skokie, Il. Formerly the practice of Dr. Abe Dumanis, our new practice offers over 50 years experience in the Dental Industry. The Dental Store North Shore has also become a refreshing, modern practice with excellent caring dentists, and team members, to provide you the best clinical and customer service.

Drawn to dentistry for both its creative and technical aspects, Dr. Asher Gelman began his dental career at Yeshiva University where he graduated summa cum laude in Biology. Fueled by passion, Dr. Gelman would go on to earn his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine earning awards and scholarships based off merit. He continued his post-doctorate training in a General Practice Residency at the James J. Peters VA Medical center, an affiliate hospital of the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where he gained extensive experience in dental implantology and prosthodontics. As well, he has conducted research in modern aesthetic dental ceramics and presented his research before the International Association of Dental Research. His techniques would go on to be published in the peer reviewed “Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society.
