Custom Jewelers of Eagle River formally known as ST. Pierre’s has been in business in Eagle River for around 15 years and was recently acquired by Master Jeweler, Steven Shane Holmes. Shane has been a professional custom jeweler for over 20 years, making his first ring at the age of twelve. Shane has been fortunate to learn his craft from the best in the industry, he’s worked with a Master Watch Repairman, Gemologist and other very experienced Master Jewelers. His peers now consult with him when they have a difficult repair, asking for his expertise. He is well known for his incredible ability to carve anything into wax, which is how he creates many of those one of a kind custom pieces. Shane strives to keep his skills sharp by taking specialized training, such as an advanced stone setting classes and advanced metal working techniques. Shane moved to Alaska when he was in middle school, is married to Julie and has 4 children, Jerry, Kris, Jake and Danielle.

Shane the owner/operator of the business made his first ring when he was 12 years old and continued jewelry as a hobby until going into the jewelry industry as a professional in 1992. He worked as an independent jewelry contractor up until 2014 when he acquired the ownership of St. Pierre’s Custom Jewelers now know as Custom Jewelers of Eagle River.
