Clutter fills a niche and need in Boulder and surrounding communities. Patty Ross, the owner, had experience with a previous consignment store and felt that she could create a well merchandised, selective and reputable consignment store that people would want to frequent, both as consignors and customers.Patty R.
Business Owner
As a child, Patty saw her parents, who are antique dealers, going to auctions and garage sales and refinishing and reselling the items that they bought.
After graduating from college, she worked in retail as a store controller and then sold point of sale systems for NCR. She “retired” to raise her 3 daughters and re-entered the workforce in 2005 as a part time employee in a consignment store.
