Established in 2004.
Clint Cooper’s French roots, paired with an inspired, energetic personality, fueled the start of Village Baking Co. in 2004. Clint and his wife Kim began selling bread to restaurants and at local farmers markets. As the business grew, the Coopers moved into a new space on University Blvd. There, the family would begin selling tasty treats to the enthusiastic surrounding neighborhood. Originally open at one location for two days a week, Village Baking Co. now has two locations open 7AM to 7PM every day. We hope to continue growing and reaching out to more of DFW with our meticulously crafted French baked goods.
Our owner, Clint Cooper, plans to grow the boulangerie concept in additional DFW neighborhoods. Clint graduated with a business degree from Texas Tech in 1999 and immediately went to work for Dell Computers. After returning to the family farm and ranch in the Texas Panhandle, he realized his true passion while working at a little bakery in Amarillo. Training in San Francisco and France helped Clint hone his baking and pastry skills.
