BARACHOU (pronounced bar-a-shoo) is not just a bakery… it is the place for the community to gather over a latte and a Chou! A Chou is an elegant, bite-sized puff with an adorable beret of sugar on top and filled with the lightest, most delicious cream imaginable. This Parisian pastry has not hit the street of New York yet but BARACHOU’s mission is to change that. BARACHOU is the perfect option for fresh and delicious treats for breakfast, dessert and snack! Handmade and baked every day at the pastry shop, our different flavors are inspired by traditional French recipes with an American twist. We can package choux as a gift, as well as customize them for seasonal, holiday or special private or corporate events.

BARACHOU is the culmination of Rebecca Tison’s longtime entrepreneurial dream of opening up a place that would bring people together.Since graduating from business school in France, Rebecca has specialized in communication, digital marketing and event management at IBM France and BNP Paribas in New York during the last 7 years. She brings these skills to BARACHOU and understands how to create a community and hype around the brand.
