Our practice specializes in conservative treatment of gum disease (periodontal disease), dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile and a wide range of other periodontal procedures to help patients not only not to establish but also better maintain their oral health, function and aesthetics. Dr. Dong will work with your general dentist and other specialist as a team to create healthy smiles. She is a skilled and well qualified periodontist and implant specialist with many years of experience. Our office is new and equipped with advanced technology and offer a wide range of services including specialized periodontal treatment, extractions, dental implants, cosmetic crown lengthening, periodontal plastic surgery (gum graft), other grafting or regenerative procedures (i.e bone graft). Dr. Dong and her staff are committed to provide quality & specialized dental care as well as making you feel comfortable and at ease.

Dr. Thalida Dong was born in Vietnam and grew up in San Francisco. She is the youngest of three children in her family and the first to complete graduate school. She finished her undergraduate at UC Berkeley with a Bachelor in Biology then continued on to graduate school at Boston Goldman’s School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Dental degree with a Magna Cum Laude. In dental school, she discovered her passion and love for doing dental surgeries so she applied for residency and was accepted to University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston. After completing her 3 years of residency specializing in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, she has been working for several years as an associate doing what she enjoys the most which is doing dental surgeries and it lead to her decision to take on a new venture and establish her own practice. Dr. Dong is board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery and she’s also a member of several dental associations.
