Applied Ergonomics was founded by Jeff Meltzer. Having worked for a company that pioneered computer ergonomic seating and accessories, Jeff expanded into general office furniture when he started his own company over twenty years ago. Over the years Applied Ergonomics has worked with clients of all types and sizes, from individuals and start-ups to Fortune 100s, scaling services to each client’s needs. We have chosen to remain a small company, ensuring that our customers work with highly experienced team members on every job. Business Owner
A native of Chicago, I went to Francis Parker and got my BA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, intending to go into my family’s retail business. Over the years I have worked in multiple industries, from trading to general contracting, and lived around the world. I started Applied Ergonomics in 1992 and have loved this business. It combines both my creative and business skills. We have a positive impact on a daily basis, improving our clients’ productivity, making their workplaces function better and more beautiful, and help individuals live a more pain-free life. I find this to be very gratifying work.I am married and have two wonderful girls.
