We take pride in providing our patrons with great quality items. We try extremely hard to only purchase from local companies or small businesses, focusing more on the quality of goods instead of quantity. We are also open to finding new local items to put in the store, so suggestions are always welcome and encourage. In the Summer months, we raise most of the fruit and vegetables that we sell and encourage people to look into the benefits of local produce vs. shipped in organics. We are well-known for our various types of tomatoes (including heirlooms,) squash, zucchini, cucumbers and blackberries. During the “on” season we welcome customers to pick their own blackberries and canning tomatoes. We also offer a Co-Op or CSA program in the summer. Other seasonal items we carry include pumpkins in Fall and N.C. Christmas Trees and handmade wreaths in the Winter. We always carry fresh eggs, Uncle Scott’s root beer, Amish jams and jellies, pickled items and Yah’s Best salsa.
Established in 2000.
We have been open for over a decade, but the building has been here since 1928. The Old Store was originally owned by Babe and Lucy Stillwell and at one time was a general store, bus stop and home.Nenhum registo encontrado
