Ferment’s roots lie in a simple home kitchen, baking high quality breads. Accompanied by the right values, we look to scale our bakery while retaining our roots and exploring other fermented goods.Andre G.

From an early age, I was always in the kitchen helping my mom cook for our family. I was fascinated at how she was able to transform such simple ingredients into the most delicious meals. Some of the most vivid memories from my childhood are making Brigadeiro and baking chocolate cakes at home.Growing up in São Paulo and Brussels for the first half of my life, I was fortunate enough to experience a myriad of cultures which has had a tremendous impact on my life. It has inspired me to be open to new experiences, and to seek out things in my life that bring me joy. After spending six months in Copenhagen, I was drawn into the world of fermentation. It has opened many new doors in my life, and I’m so excited to see where it will take me next. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors through skiing, climbing and gravel riding.
