The Bead Shop

Located on the 1st Floor of Afflecks, nestled in the creative Northern Quarter, The Bead Shop is an enticing Aladdin’s Cave, filled to bursting with unique and gorgeous beads, bead making supplies, jewellery findings and more! We’re hugely passionate about beads and jewellery making, and love to share this enthusiasm with everyone who enters our cosy and fabulous little shop; the fun, welcoming atmosphere has to be experienced! We put a lot of time and energy into sourcing the best quality beads and charms including Swarovski, Vintaj & more and most amazing products for you from around the world, and our walls and quirky tabletops are packed with everything you could possibly want or need to create gorgeous jewellery. We add new products all of the time, so there’s always something new to discover with each visit. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we will endeavor to help you with any questions you might have and help you out with any projects you’re making.

Established in 1993.
The Bead Shop began as a little store in Manchester’s Corn Exchange as the brainchild of Harvey Kersh and his late wife Fay, former owners of a design and export company.
