Dragonfly Thrift Boutique provides for an upscale fashion and furniture “virtuous shopping” experience. All proceeds benefit LEAP, a local non-profit that educates women transitioning from prison, and supports them through the re-entry process.
Established in 2018.
The Dragonfly Thrift Boutique was founded to provide paid job training for women in need of a second chance at life. It was born of the generosity of LEAP supporters and the Denise Moon Fund of the Miami Foundation. LEAP was founded and has served as a beacon of hope for women in prison since 2009.LEAP for Ladies is an organization that empowers incarcerated women to transcend their past and successfully re-enter society by providing transformational education, entrepreneurial training, and mentorship. We serve as a model, voice and advocate for the the power of rehabilitation over retribution. The Dragonfly Thrift Boutique accepts and sells donations to support this non-profit organization.
