This is Plaid speaking, Robin, the guy we live with was looking for a new job after leaving Converse in 2007 and decided to start an online business called Plaid&Stripe. Me and Stripe found a great location on Providence’s East Side and made a deal with the landlord. Then we told Robin that we would have to decide what to sell because we didn’t have thumbs and couldn’t use the computer. He did a pretty good job and we opened just before Christmas. So far, it’s been great! We just moved two blocks up to South Angell, doubled our space and began what we hope will be Rhode Island’s premier grooming facility. Come see us! My name is Plaid. I am a five year old 13″ Beagle. Me and Stripe are the owners of this business and Robin Bugbee is our manager. Sometimes he doesn’t do what we want him to do but most of the time he is ok. I do most of the merchandising and Stripe (because she is only about 3) just kind of watches and when we’re busy, does giftwrapping.
