Dr. Simmonds is a native of Nassau, Bahamas whom as a child developed a passion for dentistry volunteering in the dental office of the late Dr. Curtis McMillian who became her mentor. She attended Benedict College graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Simmonds earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in 1999. Before entering private practice, she completed an additional year of advance dental training in the Howard University Hospital General Practice Residency Program. She has been voted one of Orlando’s Best Dentist by Orlando Magazine
