Established in 1952.
The Oxford Shop was established by Richard Wirick in Salt Lake City, Utah and was managed by him alone until 2012. He was tragically killed in a bus accident in February of 2012 His brother-in-law, Gunter Radinger, with his wife, Carol, decided to buy the business and keep the fine traditions going. We have made very few changes in the business. Adding some internet sales, as well as expanding the shoe brand selections have been the major changes. The personalized service and friendly atmosphere of our shop has not only remained an essential part of our business, but has been enhanced. We are committed to offering the finest quality with the friendliest efficient service.Gunter and Carol R.
Business Owner
Gunter and Carol Radinger bought the Oxford Shop afterDick Wirick’s tragic death. We came from teaching Spanish in both college and school settings. Also, we were owners of Fendall’s Ice Cream Co until 2010. We remain Spanish teachers in several institutions and elementary schools. Both of us are involved deeply in the Arts in Utah, to include Utah Symphony and Utah Opera, as well as Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Also, we are becoming increasingly involved in Downtown Affairs, trying to improve and enhance the atmosphere and community of Downtown Salt Lake City.Nessun Record Trovato
