Local Yokel Mercantile

Local Yokel Mercantile offers local hand made art including pottery, jewelry, furniture, soaps, metal work, paintings, candles, quilts, t-shirts, carved wood, greeting cards and other unique gifts.

Local Yokel Mercantile opened in February of 2017. The building has a long history in the Village of Glendale. Originally the location of the Tin and Slate Roofing Company, the building has also housed an interior design firm as well as being the location of Glendale Florist. The most recent business at the location was an organic market. The Mercantile is carrying on the local grocery store model with added “mercantile” supplies. You’ll find everything for a meal at the Mercantile plus other kitchen supplies, dry goods, beverages, local hand crafted art for sale and gifts.
